The link that quietly died
IKEA's Dirigera hub lost its legacy Google Home cloud link for new setups around November 2025 — existing links keep working, new ones go through the Matter bridge. IKEA's own product page still advertises the route it withdrew.
The product that outlived its platform
Sutro's service shut down in October 2025 and the monitors are permanently inoperable. It stays in our library with a warning, so a secondhand buyer can see the service warning.
A light that may need another device
Whether Ring's battery pathlight needs a separate Bridge depends on Amazon Sidewalk coverage in your neighborhood — Ring's own page says it three different ways. We flag the ambiguity instead of picking the convenient reading.
