Navimow and LUBA: platform, positioning and service limits

Compare your exact lawn, model and required control route. This guide covers Navimow X315, LUBA 3 AWD and LUBA mini 2 AWD. SHWF has not tested their mowing performance.

Platform support

Navimow documents start, stop and scheduling through Alexa and Google for X315. Cutting height, zone selection and progress queries are not established on those voice routes.

Mammotion’s reviewed pages do not establish mainstream platform routes for either LUBA. Unknown does not mean unsupported; it means an essential voice or automation function needs confirmation before buying.

Neither LUBA has an official Home Assistant integration in our records. Community projects associated with LUBA 3 use Mammotion’s cloud and advise a separate shared login, but are not supported by either party. Do not assume they cover mini 2. Navimow’s Home Assistant route is also unknown.

The Husqvarna 435X AWD has an official cloud Home Assistant route, with scheduling and model-class limits. Its separate Bluetooth integration is not established for this exact mower. Official support and local control are different questions.

Positioning depends on address and variant

Navimow’s network-corrected positioning can avoid a local antenna where coverage reaches. Outside that coverage, a reference antenna must be installed. Run the manufacturer’s address checker and read the exact setup instructions.

LUBA mini 2 and LUBA 3’s 1500 variant use the documented LiDAR/camera route without a reference station. LUBA 3’s 3000 and 5000 variants include reference-station equipment and have a separate network-positioning entitlement. Do not apply the 1500’s installation answer to the whole range.

The X315 page’s larger-series specification table has no X315 column. Do not borrow another model’s battery, runtime or cellular term from it.

Positioning and cellular remote control are separate services

Navimow states its network positioning and required positioning data are included. The X315’s broader free 4G term is not established by the larger models’ table.

Both LUBAs include three years of the recorded cellular service. Its terms cover remote operations, status/map queries, anti-theft location and a limited amount of yard viewing. Renewal affects cellular access; it does not establish that Wi-Fi functions stop or that mowing becomes subscription-only.

Mammotion’s separate lifetime iNavi entitlement names LUBA 3’s 3000/5000 variants, not the 1500 or mini 2. Get a current quote for the exact renewal rather than relying on an old store price.

Before choosing

Check rated area, slope conditions, cutting-height variant, access passages and safe operating instructions against your lawn. Manufacturer ratings are not SHWF performance measurements. A wire-free label does not remove coverage, charging or mounting requirements.

Apple Home is not a documented buying route for these three models. Do not infer it from a Matter badge on another product or from a payment logo.

Use the yard directory and checker to inspect the route, then resolve your essential unanswered functions with the maker.

Frequently asked questions

Does LUBA’s paid renewal stop it mowing?

The recorded renewal covers cellular remote functions. Mowing and Wi-Fi use are separate questions; do not describe the cellular fee as a charge for every operation.

Does wire-free mean no antenna installation?

No. Navimow’s network coverage and Mammotion’s exact model determine the antenna requirements. Check the address and variant before ordering.
