⚠ Similar names, different products: This record is the AquaLink RS control SYSTEM — the panel that actually runs the pool. It is not the "iAquaLink 3.0 Web Connect Device", which Jandy also sells on its own as a several-hundred-dollar antenna for adding app control to an existing older system. The names collapse in most search results because the app is called iAquaLink and the add-on box is called iAquaLink too. What Fluidra does publish for Apple users is a Siri route: spoken commands set up through the iAquaLink app — "Siri, turn on spa", "Siri, set spa temperature to 95 degrees" — on the AquaLink RS, PDA and Z4 systems its Siri page names. What no Fluidra page says, in either direction, is whether the pool can appear in the Apple Home app: the words Apple Home and HomeKit are absent from the page that covers the Siri route, and from the integrations page beside it. Talking to Siri through a maker's own app is a different thing from adding an accessory to Apple Home, and the page that sets out the first says nothing about the second. Google Home

Google Home and Google Assistant are not supported. Fluidra's integrations page names the voice assistants the pool works with — Amazon Alexa and Siri Shortcuts for Apple, each with a page of its own — and Google appears nowhere on it. Worth saying plainly, because this record used to say otherwise: it previously reported that Jandy claimed Google Assistant support, and no Jandy or iAquaLink page we can read says that today.[1][19][26][36][45]

Alexa

Through Fluidra's iAquaLink skill: you enable it in the Alexa app, sign in with your iAquaLink account and let Alexa discover the pool's equipment, which then shows up as devices you can rename. Fluidra names the AquaLink RS among the systems the skill works with, and lists commands to switch the pool and spa pumps on and off, turn on the heater, set or raise the water temperature, and control lights and water features. Alexa can tell you the spa temperature only while the filter pump is running. It goes through Fluidra's iAquaLink service, so the pool has to be online.[1][38]

SmartThings

Not established. Fluidra's integrations page has a "Home Automation Integrations" heading with nothing underneath it, so there is no published list of home-automation platforms this system works with — and therefore nothing that settles SmartThings either way. The only platforms Fluidra names on that page are the two voice assistants, Amazon Alexa and Siri Shortcuts. A community project called AqualinkD does advertise SmartThings, but it wires into the AquaLink panel directly and stands in for the iAquaLink device rather than working alongside it, so it is not a route Jandy supports or will help you with.[2][20][26][36][39][41][45]

The trap is the other direction: adding the iAquaLink app to a pool system you already own is a separate several-hundred-dollar device, and Jandy says which one you need "may be required depending on the age and model of the automation system."
