⚠ Similar names, different products: This record is the AquaLink RS control SYSTEM — the panel that actually runs the pool. It is not the "iAquaLink 3.0 Web Connect Device", which Jandy also sells on its own as a several-hundred-dollar antenna for adding app control to an existing older system. The names collapse in most search results because the app is called iAquaLink and the add-on box is called iAquaLink too. If you are buying a new All-in-One kit, the Web Connect device is already in the box; if you are retrofitting a system you already own, it is the part you buy.

One concrete limit on the read: iaqualink.com footnotes the temperature query with "*Filter pump must be on for water temperature readings", so "Siri, what is the spa temperature" answers only while the pump is running. • Home Assistant: Platform-gated, and which gate applies depends on the web-connect generation in front of the panel. Home Assistant's iaqualink documentation supports "pool and spa systems that are managed through the iAquaLink cloud service using one of the following platforms: iAquaLink 2.0 (iQ20), eXO" and states under Unsupported devices: "Other iAquaLink systems are not supported. Equipment that is not exposed in the iAquaLink app or cloud service also cannot be added to Home Assistant." Re-verified 2026-08-10 — this field previously carried an EMPTY note, which asserted 'none' with nothing behind it.

Maintenance reality^[1][6]

• Works without the internet: Not established — we have not sourced this yet. It does not mean the product fails without the internet.
• Professional install and service through a Jandy dealer; the system controls pool and spa equipment from one panel, and iaqualink.com states the app reaches up to 32 pool/spa features. Remote control is cloud-dependent: it runs through Jandy's iAquaLink service rather than locally, which is the difference between this and the local-control systems elsewhere in the category. • Security updates: No security-update support date is on record for this model yet. We haven't yet checked whether Jandy publishes one, so this is a gap in our research — not a statement about the manufacturer.

The catch

A pro-installed system you choose with your pool builder, not something you buy off a shelf — the price is a quote. Every current All-in-One kit ships the iQ30-A Web-Connect device in the box, so app control is not an extra purchase on a NEW kit. The trap is the other direction: adding the iAquaLink app to a pool system you already own is a separate several-hundred-dollar device, and Jandy says which one you need "may be required depending on the age and model of the automation system."
