Wyze states its security-update commitment for this model as a period rather than a date: up to one (1) year of bug fixes, maintenance releases, workarounds or patches — counted from the EOL notice date, which has not been issued for this model (the document this comes from names no country, so which markets it legally covers is not stated). That is a floor measured from a starting point the manufacturer sets — a launch or a purchase — rather than a fixed end date, so it cannot be placed on a calendar here. We record the commitment as the manufacturer states it, in our words, rather than converting it into a date it did not give. This is a published commitment, not a gap in our research.

NO DATE EXISTS FOR THIS MODEL, AND THE REASON IS STRUCTURAL RATHER THAN AN OVERSIGHT — Wyze's published commitment is measured from an event that has not happened yet. Wyze's End of Life Policy, read 2026-08-20, promises, word for word, "up to one (1) year of continued warranty support", "one (1) year of continued offering and support of subscription services", and "one (1) year of bug fixes, maintenance releases, workarounds or patches" for critical issues — all counted from the day Wyze announces the product's retirement, with the Final Date of Support defined as "the last date to receive applicable service and support as entitled by valid agreement for a Product". Wyze has announced no retirement for this camera, so no clock has started and no date can be worked out. 🔴 THE SENTENCE A BUYER SHOULD ACTUALLY READ, quoted exactly: after that final date, "Wyze will no longer be actively monitoring for and patching new security vulnerabilities related to the Product", and "the continued use of Products past their FDOS carries increased risk, is discouraged by Wyze and is entirely at the user's own risk."
