Second, identifying the certificate took real work and the result is worth stating: SwitchBot holds FOUR air-purifier certificates, all filed under Woan Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. with vendor ID 0x1397. It also suits an existing SwitchBot household, where this slots into an app and an account you already run. It suits a pet owner on the vendor's own framing: the whole product description is about hair, dander and odour rather than about allergies or wildfire smoke. Google Home and SmartThings households get on/off and fan speed through Matter, because both platforms list air purifiers among the Matter devices they control; in Google Home that control is in the app, not by voice. Think twice if you are buying it for Apple Home or Alexa: Apple's Matter list leaves out fan control, and SwitchBot names neither platform for this model. And if running costs matter, note that the filter is $39.99 and its replacement interval is not published anywhere.
