Reolink publishes no security-update support date for this model. That is a gap in what the manufacturer has published, not evidence either way — some makers declare a support period and some say nothing at all.

Reolink publishes no security-support period on any of its own surfaces, and that was measured rather than assumed. The pages where such a statement would sit were read on 2026-08-22: the Reolink security page describes encryption and says only that firmware "will be updated regularly", which is a practice and not a commitment; the discontinuation notice lists roughly 40 end-of-life models with EOL dates and attaches no support period to any of them; the terms and conditions contain no support-period language; and the product page states a 2-year limited warranty, which covers hardware rather than patching. The English quick start guide for this doorbell was read in full and mentions a declaration of conformity for radio equipment only. Reolink Innovation Limited does appear to have filed a UK PSTI Statement of Compliance, but the only copies that surface are on third-party manual-mirror sites, which is not the manufacturer speaking and is not cited here. So a date may well exist and Reolink does not publish it where a buyer can reach it.

No Apple Home and no SmartThings, and the two ecosystems it does support get the same partial deal: Alexa and Google give you live view, notifications and a chime, while two-way talk and event history stay in the Reolink app. The one that earns this doorbell its following is Home Assistant — RTSP/ONVIF, Frigate and Blue Iris friendly, no subscription for local storage.
