⚠ Similar names, different products: Oasis sells two screw-in bulbs and names them by size. The Standard (this one) has the everyday E26 base and is the brighter of the two. The Candle has the thin E12 base used in chandeliers and small fixtures. Both are sold in packs, and neither is the Oasis Ambient, which is a plug-in lamp with its bulb built in.

A standard E26 screw-in LED bulb. Oasis lists 1100 lumens, 11 watts, 110 volts and a colour range from 1000K, which it calls pure red, up to 4000K. It lists a life of 25,000+ hours and a size of 2.5 x 4.4 inches, and describes the light as flicker-free with a colour rendering index above 90. Dimming happens in the app only. Oasis says the bulbs do not work with dimmer switches, which may make them flicker.
Security updates: Oasis publishes no security-update support date for this model. That is a gap in what the manufacturer has published, not evidence either way — some makers declare a support period and some say nothing at all.^[3]

The catch

Everything smart about this bulb goes through the Oasis app, and Oasis says very little about how. The page lists brightness, wattage and a colour range, but no radio or network type, and doesn't say what the bulb does when the internet is down. Oasis also says the bulbs don't work with dimmer switches. Put one on a dimmer and it may flicker, so dimming means the app or a voice assistant. And Oasis's closed list of supported systems covers Alexa and Google Home only.

Who it's for

An Alexa or Google Home household that wants its ordinary lamps and ceiling fixtures to follow the day on their own, bright in the morning and warm at night, without building schedules. It is a poor fit for Apple Home, SmartThings or Home Assistant users, for a room on a dimmer switch, and for anyone who needs to know how a bulb connects and what it does offline before buying.
