⚠ Similar names, different products: Oasis sells two screw-in bulbs and names them by size. The Candle (this one) has the thin E12 base used in chandeliers, sconces and small fixtures, and it will not fit an everyday lamp socket. The Standard has the everyday E26 base and is brighter. Neither is the Oasis Ambient, which is a plug-in lamp with its bulb built in.

A thin-base E12 screw-in LED bulb for chandeliers and small fixtures. Oasis lists 400 lumens, 4.7 watts, 110 volts and a colour range from 1000K, which it calls pure red, up to 4000K. It lists a life of 25,000+ hours and a size of 1.6 x 4.5 inches, and describes the light as flicker-free with a colour rendering index above 90. Dimming happens in the app only. Oasis says the bulbs do not work with dimmer switches, which may make them flicker. That matters more for a candle bulb, since chandeliers and sconces are often on dimmers.
Security updates: Oasis publishes no security-update support date for this model. That is a gap in what the manufacturer has published, not evidence either way — some makers declare a support period and some say nothing at all.^[2]

The catch

The fixtures a candle bulb is made for are often on dimmer switches, and Oasis says its bulbs don't work with them. On a dimmer they may flicker, and dimming has to happen in the app or through a voice assistant. Beyond that, everything smart goes through the Oasis app. Oasis names no radio or network type and doesn't say what the bulb does without the internet. Its closed list of supported systems covers Alexa and Google Home only. It is sold only as a two-pack.

An Alexa or Google Home household with chandeliers, sconces or small lamps on a plain on-off switch that wants those lights to follow the day on their own, bright in the morning and warm at night.
