Leviton Decora Smart Wi-Fi Dimmer, 2nd Gen (D26HD)

Compiled by SmartHomeWorkflow Research · Leviton · Switches & Dimmers

leviton.com lists the product as discontinued with suggested replacement D36HD-1BW (itself Matter-certified per the CSA registry). Firmware support continued after discontinuation: the D26HD received its own Matter certification on 2025-02-21 at firmware 2.3.10. Still widely stocked at third-party retailers. Discontinued in favor of the D36HD, and Matter is not out of the box: it arrives via an opt-in Early Access firmware update through the My Leviton app, and applying it breaks an existing Apple HomeKit pairing until the device is re-added over Matter.

Who it's for

A fit for households with a neutral wire that want a 600 W-incandescent/300 W-LED dimmer working across Alexa, Google, SmartThings, and Apple Home, and are comfortable managing firmware on a discontinued-but-supported model; buyers starting fresh may prefer its D36HD successor.
