Setup and sources

Apple Home

Leviton's instruction sheet says you can control the fan speed from the Apple Home app, so setting the speed works in Apple Home. Neither Leviton nor Apple says whether Apple Home can turn the fan on and off, so on/off is unconfirmed there. HomeKit is listed on the spec sheet, but taking Leviton's Matter firmware update REMOVES the existing HomeKit connection and forces re-pairing via a Matter code. Choosing Matter and keeping HomeKit are not both available.[3]

Google Home

Leviton connects this controller to Google Home when you link your My Leviton account in the Google Home app, and its product sheet says you can control connected fans with Hey Google or from the Google Home app, so setting the fan speed works there. Leviton doesn't say whether Google Home can turn the fan on and off, so on/off is unconfirmed there. For Alexa, the same sheet names the four fan speeds.[3][15][18]

Alexa

Leviton's spec sheet for the D24SF says you can use your voice to set the fan to low, medium, high or max from Alexa devices and the Alexa app, so setting the fan speed works on Alexa. Leviton doesn't say whether Alexa can turn the fan on and off, and Amazon publishes nothing for this model, so on/off is unconfirmed there.[3][19]
