⚠ Similar names, different products: eufy sells three different 'S4' products and only one of them is this doorbell. On eufy's own US store today the S4 name belongs to the eufyCam S4 (an outdoor security camera, sold in kits and bundles) and to the PoE NVR Security System S4 Max — while the Video Doorbell S4 announced at CES 2026 does not appear in the video-doorbell listing at all. The record previously published 'none — local storage via HomeBase/SD', and its only subscription-claiming source, Anker's CES 2026 release, says nothing about recurring fees for the S4 at all (re-read 2026-08-20, BQ-212 tranche 3, 16 #367). eufy's local-storage model is brand-wide and the E340 sibling is genuinely fee-free — but 'true of the brand, therefore true of this model' is the inference this catalogue refuses, and this record has been stopped for that exact species of reasoning three times. eufy publishes no S4 spec page as of 2026-08-20; when one appears, this resolves in one read.
