Dreame's own footnote is worth heeding — 'Auto solution refilling: To avoid potential damage, use our official cleaning solutions' — which is a consumable lock-in on an otherwise subscription-free product. Obstacle crossing is 1.57in (4cm) on a double-layer step and 0.87in (2.2cm) on a single one. Robot 350 × 350 × 103.8 mm and 4.04 kg; base station 457 × 340 × 590 mm and 9.21 kg. The catch
🔴 Dreame markets Matter on this page — 'Matter Protocol Compatibility Unifies Smart Home' — and CSA's own certification ledger holds no Matter certificate for it. The model is registered under Dreame's vendor ID, but it has no certified software version, while a known-certified control returns normally from the same endpoints. Unlike its sibling the L50 Ultra, this page carries no 'upcoming OTA update' footnote to explain the gap. Practically: no Apple Home, no local control, and everything through Dreame's app and cloud.
Who it's for
Someone who wants a very well-equipped dock — 100°C mop washing, self-cleaning washboard, auto-refill, 100-day auto-empty — and is content to run the robot from Dreame's app with voice as a convenience. It suits an Alexa or Google household at start/stop/adjust level. It is the wrong pick if you want the robot in Apple Home, if you want local control that survives Dreame's cloud, or if you are buying on the strength of the Matter badge on the page.
