Everything runs through the Dreamehome app and Dreame's cloud — mapping, carpet rules, no-go zones, pet features, scheduling — and the three voice services are cloud links to that same account. Dreame recommends replacing brush and filter every 6–12 months. The standout mechanical feature is ProLeap retractable legs, rated for 30,000 cleaning cycles, which climb 2.36in across two steps or 1.65in on a single vertical step — the climbing mat that reaches the upper figure is a separate purchase. 🔴 Matter is certified but not delivered. Dreame's page sells 'Matter protocol compatibility' as a headline, and CSA's ledger does hold a real certificate for this exact model — but the page's own footnote reads 'Matter protocol: Available through an upcoming OTA update. Please stay tuned.' Until that firmware ships there is no Apple Home, no local control, and no Matter of any kind: everything runs through the Dreamehome app and Dreame's cloud.
Who it's for
The pick in this set for homes with thresholds and door tracks — the ProLeap legs climb 1.65in in one step and 2.36in across two, which is well beyond what the rest of this launch set manages — paired with a dock that washes at 167°F and empties itself for around 100 days. It fits an Alexa or Google household that is content with voice, and an Apple household only if Siri and an Apple Watch button are enough. Do not buy it today for Apple Home or for local control: the Matter firmware has not shipped, and Dreame gives no date.
